Amazon Music vs Spotify vs Youtube Music
I’ve been playing with Amazon Music I’ve been using it on the app and I’ve also used it on the desktop. We’re going to go and have a look at the
desktop and I’m going to give you my views on it now.
You know I have tested all of them for a while and I get a lot of questions all the time. One of the questions keep getting is: What am I using at the moment? As you know I switched back from Spotify, Apple music to YouTube Music and then I test these other ones to see what’s going on with them and I am back to Spotify.
Why am I back to Spotify? Well, I got an email after my last video saying that what is going on with Spotify and their music suggestion system and said that you know please bear with us algorithms stuff like that so they are updating it.
What I found while testing all of these things is with Apple Music, I love the sound quality. You’ve probably heard this say
it in these other videos but Apple Music
will only connect to Apple HomePod.
YouTube Music is brilliant. YouTube Music will only connect to Nest audio speakers. Spotify speaker connects to your home pods, to your Nest, to your Echoes and to everything. I know you can do the Bluetooth stuff YouTube Music and if you’ve got Amazon Music.
In fact, I’m going to get into that in a second with Amazon Music, because on an Apple phone it’ll allow you to connect to the Airplay Bluetooth, but it will not allow you if you’re on YouTube Music, connect to the Google Nest home Amazon music and there’s so if you’ve got Amazon Prime you get access to Amazon Music.
Amazon Music will play everything else and if you’ve got Amazon Prime you get access to the music and you just get the standard music. That seems to be okay for many people. However if you pay for subscription, and currently they’re doing a thing where you get 30 days free, then it gives you high quality sounding uninterrupted for +100 million tracks of Amazon music.

Let’s have a look at the Desktop App. The app can be installed on your Mac or Windows desktop this is what it looks like.
It’s kind of nice. I tried the free part, you can convert or transfer or synchronize all of your playlists from
different platforms across Fantastic Tools so all I did was I’ve got all my
Spotify playlists or all my other playlists like this transfer select
Spotify I selected all my playlists and I transferred it over to my Amazon music.
I want to get to my library I simply click on library and I’ve got music and podcasts so a little bit like Spotify. All my playlists, my recents playlists, artist albums and songs are available.
